Elisabeth de Darkó, MD, has served as Chief Executive Officer since April 2006. Previously Dr. Darkó was Director Medical and Regulatory Affairs, Yamanouchi Nordic  and she has more than 15 years of experience with clinical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry in addition to 14 years clinical experience.

Leif Helth Jensen Leif Helth Jensen

 

Leif Helth Jensen has more than 25 years of experience within the life science industry. He has been the CEO of two Biotech companies (Cureon and Glycom), on the Board of Directors in 6 Biotech companies (Genmab, Zealand Pharma, Cureon, Exiqon, Meditel and Promogenetics) and been the co-founder of 3 Biotech companies (NeuroSearch, Zealand Pharma and Cureon). He has previously held other positions such as Director of Pharmacology at NeuroSearch, CEO of Danske Life Science and VicePresident Portfolio Management at LifeCycle Pharma. He is currently on the Board of Director in Dentofit and Bone Medical Ltd. (Australia) and the Chairman of the Board in Valderm, Microlytics, Inagen and Alcorlab. He has a M.Sc. in Biology from the University of Copenhagen. He is a co-author of more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific papers and a co-inventor of 19 patent families.

 


Ole Bitsch-Jensen Ole Bitsch-Jensen

 

Ole Bitsch-Jensen has been with Valderm since 2003 and is experienced from biotechnology startups as well as a multinational company within pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical technologies. Ole has worked within research and development, project management, production, sales, and international marketing, and business development. Since 2001 Ole has been with Seed Capital, focusing on investments within the diagnostics/pharmaceutical and medical technology areas of the life sciences arena.

Ole is Master of Science in Chemical Engineering (Civilingeniør (K)) from the Technical University of Denmark and B.Comm. (HD-A) from Copenhagen Business School.

 

Kim Bøttkjær

 

Kim Bøttkjær is Managing Partner, FIH Partners, a leading Danish investment bank. He has previously been Managing Director, Investment Banking, Carnegie A/S,, Rolls Royce Finance Partners, London and Founder of Muir-Carby, Bottkjaer Ltd and Inc, London and New York. Kim Bøttkjær has lead the IPO of the Biotech companies NeuroSearch, GenMab, Bavarian Nordic and Pharmexa

 

Bjarne Bymose Bjarne Bymose

 

Bjarne Bymose, MD, founder of Valderm ApS in 2003. He has more than 20 years experience from R&D in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in clinical development.  Bjarne Bymose has worked as Research Director and Medical Director in a number of international pharmaceutical companies. At present he is Director in Nycomed Pipeline Sourcing group

 

Carsten Schou Carsten Schou

 

Carsten holds an MSc in biology and a PhD in Immunology from University of Copenhagen and Statens Seruminstitut. He has 11 years of operational experience in the pharmaceutical industry and has been Director of Research at ALK-Abelló A/S. He has held senior management positions in the biotechnology industry and as entrepreneur co-founded two biotech companies. He has been with Danske Private Equity prior to joining SEED Capital Denmark K/S. Carsten is also Director in Symbion Capital A/S, Partner in SEED Capital Denmark K/S, Member of the Board of Directors:Nordic Vaccine Technology A/S (Chairman), Celltrix AB, Aresa A/S, NeuroKey A/S
